Dimensions: 47 x 35 inches Material: Oil on canvas Date: 11.09.26 This painting is titled A Bowl Full of Tomorrows, an oil on canvas created in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 1: No Poverty. At its centre, a child reaches toward a bowl overflowing with fruit. But this is not simply a painting about receiving, it is about access. The fruit represents nourishment, opportunity and choice, while the school, books, sewing machine, technology, agriculture and social protection surrounding him represent the systems that allow a person to move beyond survival and shape their own future. The Igbo-inspired motifs on the bowl speak to Aku na Uba, wealth and prosperity, connecting this vision of abundance to our cultural memory. It plays on the idea that abundance is not foreign, its our birth right. Through this work, I explore what I call the echoes of humanity: our shared responsibility to create a world where dignity, opportunity and hope are not privileges, but possibilities available to everyone.
